John K. Neutzling, age 57, passed away on December 17, 2024. John was born on February 11, 1967 in Columbus to the late John and Carolyn Neutzling. John grew up in St. Agatha Parish where he went to school and then graduated from Bishop Watterson High School in 1985. After high school, John attended The Ohio State University for a year and then entered the Army. He was stationed in Nuremberg, Germany for two years. He used the GI Bill to pay for his college tuition and graduated from Franklin University with a Bachelor of Science in 1993. John worked in several consulting and managerial roles throughout his career. John had an entrepreneurial spirit and was past co-owner of Harrisons on Third and Harrisons on Kenny. Most recently he was employed at GFS Chemicals where he was a supply chain leader. He was past member of St. Agatha Knights of Columbus and the Columbus Serra Club. John loved his family and his passion was watching his daughter Lauren play field hockey from 6th grade until now where she just concluded her senior season at Wittenberg University. John is survived by his adored daughter, Lauren Neutzling and her mother Sarah Neutzling; siblings, Mary (John) Pardi and Bill (Martina) Neutzling; nieces and nephews, Molly (Brendan) Jenkins, Emily (Matt) Harbrecht, Sarah (Bradford) Rybak, Jack Vlahakis, Michael (Lindsey) Vlahakis, Maria Pardi, Juliana Pardi, Danny Neutzling, Anastasia Neutzling and Carolyn Neutzling; 7 great-nieces and nephews; many other relatives and friends. Friends may call Friday, December 27 from 4-7 p.m. at Egan-Ryan Northwest Chapel, 4661 Kenny Road where the Rosary will begin at 7:00 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be Saturday at 10:00 a.m. at St. Agatha Church, 1860 Northam Road. Burial to follow at Resurrection Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Bishop Watterson High School.
