John W. Hegarty

John W. Hegarty, age 31, died suddenly on Saturday September 28, 2024. Employee of Snyder’s Unlimited. Survived by his wife Gabriella Hegarty who he married on May 18, 2024; mother Mary Hegarty and father Joel Hegarty; sister Marcie; brothers Dan (Mary) and Michael (Emily); niece Alice; mother-in-law Theresa Black and father- in- law Richard Black; aunts, uncles, cousins, and many friends. John was a thoughtful man who cared strongly for those he loved. He was a dedicated residential and commercial roofer and aspired to start his own business one day. He enjoyed watching the Cleveland Brown’s play and liked going for runs in his free time. He loved his two dachshunds Gus and Beau and was a fiercely protective husband. Mass of Christian Burial will be on Saturday, October 5, 2024 at 1030am at The Church of the Resurrection located at 6300 E. Dublin Granville Rd., New Albany, OH where friends may visit prior at 930am. Burial at Resurrection Cemetery.
