JoAnn (Parquette) Finan

JoAnn Finan, age 84, of Upper Arlington passed away on February 23, 2021. JoAnn was born on May15, 1936 and was a very intelligent and educated woman. She graduated from Carlow College in Pittsburgh PA with a degree in teaching. JoAnn used her education to serve others helping many disadvantaged students get a degree and enter the business world.  She had a caring, servant heart, vivacious personality, determination, drive and grit. She helped many people throughout her career and in her personal life and this will forever be her legacy.

Preceding her death are father and mother, Fred and Catherine Parquette , sister, Margaret Davidson, son, Brian McMahon, daughter in-law Tracy Bell-McMahon and daughter-in-law Shelley Holcomb-McMahon.

To cherish her memory, she leaves four sons and three daughters-in-law, John McMahon (Chris), Stuart McMahon, Kevin McMahon, David McMahon, Josie Patterson-McMahon, Dorothy Watts-McMahon, Aline Lefort-McMahon.

In addition, her memory will be cherished by her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Jamie Lynn McMahon, Jessica McMahon-Shand, Catherine McMahon-Williams, Molly McMahon, Connor McMahon, Aurelia McMahon, Liam McMahon, Alex Shand, Brian Shand and Eliza Williams. A Funeral Service will be held 1 p.m. Tuesday March 2, 2021 at EGAN-RYAN FUNERAL HOME NORTHWEST CHAPEL 4661 Kenny Rd. where friends may call one hour prior to the service.
