Jean Huff, (89) of Upper Arlington, born March 10, 1934 passed away Sunday, Oct. 15, 2023, at Dublin Methodist Hospital.
Jean was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She was truly amazing; there wasn’t anything she couldn’t handle. She was fondly referred to as “The Little General” by her family and close friends.
She was raised in Franklin County and Dublin, and was the Salutatorian of her 1952, Dublin High School graduating class.
Jean married Paul W. Huff, Nov. 7, 1953, and they sent 68 wonderful years together at their home in Upper Arlington.
She was an avid square dancer. She and Paul traveled the United States dancing at many, many Square Dance conventions. She loved to play Euchre and her passion was designing clothes with 2 of her creations being purchased by design houses in New York.
Jean received a Kidney Transplant in July of 1986 and had been actively pursuing and loving life for 37 years.
She was a Route Coordinator and District Area Manager for Dispatch Consumer Services for 20 plus years. She retired in 2009 after receiving several awards and letters of accommodation.
Jean was preceded in death by her father, Francis C. Huff, mother, Prudy Crego Huff, brother, Charles F. Huff, sister, Dorothy (Huff) Lazirko and husband, Paul W. Huff. She is survived by, daughter, Gina M. Morgan, grandson, Nicholas A. Morgan, and numerous nieces, nephews and their children.
Visitation will be held from 3 to 5 pm on Nov. 7, 2023 at the Egan-Ryan Northwest Chapel, 4661 Kenny Road, Columbus, OH 43220 with a Celebration of Life beginning at 5 pm.
