James F. “Jim” O’Connor, passed away on January 15, 2026. Preceded in death by his parents, James Tim and Frances (Montgomery) O’Connor; wife, Pat O’Connor and brother, John O’Connor. He is survived by his children, Jim (Chris) O’Connor, Kevin (Karen) O’Connor and Terri (Vicki Boddeker) O’Connor; sister, Sue O'Connor; grandchildren, Shannon (Adam) Rose, Kieran O’Connor, Eireann Meyer, Colin (Jessica) O’Connor, Kaitlyn O’Connor, Amanda O’Connor, Ryley Boddeker-O’Connor; great grandchildren, Finnigan Rose, Paisley, Rex, Cashton and Lainey Meyer, Elizabeth, Loghan and Beckett O’Connor, Allan and Jay O’Connor. Graduate of Aquinas College High School, class of 1953. He received his Bachelor’s Degree from Xavier University. Veteran of the United States Army. Longtime member of the Patrick Pearse Division of the Ancient Order of Hibernians (AOH). He retired from the United States Post Office. Member of St. Patrick Church. Friends may call Monday, from 4-7 p.m. at Egan-Ryan Funeral Home, 403 East Broad Street where a Rosary will be held beginning at 4pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be Tuesday at 10am at St. Patrick Church, 280 North Grant Ave. Burial to follow at St. Joseph Cemetery.
