James Eddie Thompson

James Eddie Thompson, 64, went to be with the Lord August 2, 2025.  He was born 12/01/1960 to Russell & Edna (Corky).  He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, son, and brother.  He will be missed by many, and will be forever be in our hearts.  He was a 1979 graduate of Hilliard High School.  Ed was a forklift driver at Sygma and also worked at the Columbus Airport as a cargo agent. He was a huge Ohio State Buckeye fan.  He is preceded in death by his son, Bruce Glick.  He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Sharon Thompson; children, Matthew Mitchum, Russell Thompson, Caleb Thompson, Ashleigh Thompson and Ashton Thompson; granddaughter, Riley Mitchum; sisters, Nancy (Lynn) Fuller and Linda Patton.  Friends may call Thursday, August 7 from 2-4 p.m. at Egan-Ryan Funeral Home, 403 East Broad Street, where a Funeral Service will begin at 4 p.m.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
