James E. Golden

James Edward Golden, age 94, passed away at home surrounded by his family on November 6, 2025.  He was a loving Husband, Father, Grandfather and Great Grandfather who will be dearly missed.  He was a longtime member of Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church.  He was a Member and Past President of IBEW Local 683, Former Director of Columbus J.A.T.C., Assistant Business Manager of IBEW Local 683, Former President and General Manager of States Electric Inc., Former Building Manager of The Ohio Building Authority.  He is preceded in death by his son, James Michael Golden; brother John Francis Golden and parents Catherine and James B. Golden.  He is survived by his loving wife Patricia (McQuade);  children, William, Michael, Edward (Judy), Kevin (Toni), Mary Beth (Mark) DeRoberts, Timothy (Judie) and Tricia (David) Matthews; grandchildren, Michael and Marcey Golden, Jason (Erica) Golden, Sean (Becca) Golden, Lizzie (Tony) Kuhlman, Conor (Soo Youn) and Kelly Golden, Maddie (Carl) Rassi, Audrey and Grace Matthews; great grandchildren, Annabeth, Jameson and Catherine Golden, Danica and McKenna Golden, Colette Kuhlman, Quade and Scottie Rassi; siblings, Joann Cavendish, Mary Ellen Miller, Nancy (Bill) Demidovich and Judy Moore; many nieces and nephews.  Friends may call Thursday, November 13 from 4-7pm at Egan-Ryan Northwest Chapel, 4661 Kenny Road.  Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 am Friday, November 14 at Our Lady of Peace Church, 20 East Dominion Blvd.  Burial to follow at Resurrection Catholic Cemetery.  The family would like to give special thanks to Luminary Hospice and Cornerstone Caregiving.
