James Anthony Reinmann, age 92, of Columbus, Ohio, passed away peacefully on August 4. Born with an unwavering sense of service and community, Jim lived a full and vibrant life shaped by family, faith, and dedication to others.
A proud graduate of Cathedral Latin in Cleveland and John Carroll University, Jim served honorably in the Korean War. His commitment to service continued long after, enriching the lives of countless individuals through his work and volunteerism.
Jim was deeply involved in the Knights of Columbus Victory Council, serving faithfully as both Navigator and Past Grand Knight. He was a longtime member of the Serra Club, where he fostered friendships and supported vocations in the Catholic Church. His community involvement included being a long time trainer for Franklin County Board of Elections and serving as a goal judge for the WCHA (OSU Women’s Hockey) up through the most recent season. For nearly two decades, Jim was also the trusted captain of Hole 14 Marshals for the NCHC tournament, exemplifying his reliability and tireless enthusiasm.
Jim was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Mary Anne Reinmann, and his dear son, Jimmy Reinmann. He is survived by his children Molly Reinmann, Bill (Maria) Reinmann, and Ted Reinmann; his grandchildren Charlotte (Ryan) Lindsey and Joseph (Sofia) Reinmann; and his cherished great-granddaughter, Alexandria.
Family and friends are invited to celebrate Jim’s life at a Funeral Mass on August 14 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Timothy Church, 1088 Thomas Lane, Columbus, OH 43220. Burial will follow at Resurrection Cemetery, 9571 North High St, Lewis Center, OH 43035. Visitation will be held the evening prior—August 13—from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Egan-Ryan Funeral Home Northwest Chapel, 4661 Kenny Rd, Columbus, OH 43220.

Jim will be deeply missed by all who knew him—but his legacy will continue to shine brightly through the lives he touched and the values he lived by.
