James F. Strapp, more lovingly referred to as Jim, passed peacefully on February 12, 2024 at the age of 93. The smartest, kindest, most gentle soul. Anyone who knew Jim, loved his quick wit and quiet humor. A loyal family man, dedicated to his loving wife of 57 years and his 10 beautiful children. He worked diligently at 3M for 27 years, retiring as one of the top sales people in the country. He was an avid golfer and loved to play euchre and bridge. He was dear to many as he made a Strapp legacy to last generations. As he joins his beloved wife Betty and his adored son Kevin, he leaves behind 9 other children; Amy Karshner, Cathy Underwood, Sharon (Glenn) Dalton, Gary (Linda) Strapp, Mary Beth (Chuck) Wilde, Linda (Melissa) Strapp, Eileen (Mark) Pezzutti, Dennis (Terri) Strapp, and Nancy Ysseldyke. He is also survived by 27 grandchildren and 38 great grandchildren. Friends may call Friday, February 16th from 4-7pm at Egan-Ryan Funeral Home, 403 East Broad St. Mass of Christian Burial Saturday, February 17th at 10am at St. Matthew the Apostle Church, 807 Havens Corners Rd. Burial at St. Joseph Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Christ the King Church.
