James Fritchen

James “Jim” Fritchen, 71, of Thornville, Ohio, passed away on July 24, 2022 in his residence. Jim was born on August 10, 1950.  He is survived by his children Sarah (Alexander) Elek, Theresa (Jonathan) Ball, his grandchildren Margaret, Isabella, Allison, Lillianne, and long time friend Vicki Fritchen.  He was preceded in death by his parents Lester and Alice (Thurston) Fritchen.  

Jim graduated from West High School in Columbus, Ohio, he served in the Army during the Vietnam War, and worked for Plastic Packaging Technologies for over 30 years.  He was an active member at AMVETS in Thornville, Ohio and will be greatly missed by neighbors at Custers Point on Buckeye Lake.

A Celebration of Life gathering will be held at AMVETS (9293 Thorn Twp Rd 79, Thornville, OH 43076) on August 4, 2022 from 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM. In lieu of flowers donations to AMVETS can be made during the Celebration of Life.
