Obituary
Jacqueline (Jackie) Klinker Hammond, age 82, passed away peacefully on September 5, 2023 in the comfort of her home surrounded by family. She was a 1958 graduate of St Mary of the Springs, attended The Ohio State University and was a life-long Buckeye fan. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother (Meme), aunt and friend. Preceded in death by her infant son John; parents Jack and Mary Klinker; and sisters Mary Jo Minor, Barbara Sheehan, and Marla Grote. Survived by husband of 62 years James and children Jack Hammond, Jay Hammond, Jennifer (Scott) Warren, Jaime (Matthew) Kletzly; grandchildren, Casey (Josh) Hammond, Courtney Hammond, Katy (David) Hammond, Jack (Mercedes) Hammond, Drew Hammond, Jordan (Trip) Hiller, Max Hammond, Libby Warren, Michael Warren, Coleen (Evan) Anderson and Molly Kletzly; 8 great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews and many special friends, including Ken Frazier and Anne-Marie Meyer, Carol Schumacher, Pat Parren and Bette-Jo Stempel. Friends may call Friday from 5-7p.m. at Egan-Ryan Funeral Home Northwest Chapel, 4661 Kenny Rd. Mass of the Christian Burial will be Saturday at 10 a.m. at St. Peter Roman Catholic Church 6899 Smoky Rd. Interment St. Joseph Cemetery.
