Ida Parrilla

Ida Parrilla, age 94, passed away peacefully on April 9, 2026. She was born on May 28, 1931, and lived a long life filled with love, strength, and devotion to her family.

She will be remembered for her devotion to God, her love for her Church, her kindness, her warmth, her amazing cooking, and the love she shared with those around her. Her presence will be deeply missed, but her memory will live on in the hearts of her friends and family forever. Today she goes home to heaven to reunite with her creator and her cherished late husband.

Ida is survived by her son, Ronald Parrilla; her grandchildren, Danielle Parrilla, Julieanna Woody and Jesse Parrilla; and her cherished great-grandchildren, Serenity Woody, Jordan Minaya, Erica Poindexter, and Jesse Jr.

Ida was preceded in death by her adored husband, Arthur Parrilla and daughter Debra Parrilla.

Visitation will be Thursday, April 16 from 10:00am - 11:00am at Gender Road Christian Church, 5336 Gender Road, Canal Winchester, 43110 where a Funeral Service will begin at 11:00 a.m.  Burial to follow at Franklin Hills Memory Gardens.
