Hugh “Kelly” Callahan, aged 93 died January 18th. Born in Toledo, formerly of Elyria, he made his home in Columbus, OH for the last 44 years. Preceded in death by his wife Peg, parents Hugh and Catherine, and brother, Francis. Survived by his children Anne (Patrick) Meredith, Patty, both of Columbus, son Joseph of Cleveland; Grandchildren Steven (Ashley) and Kathleen (Kevin) Brake of Columbus and Kevin of Tampa, FL; Great-grandchildren Connor and Ethan Meredith and Patrick and Madeline Brake; sister Catherine Kolenda. Friends and family may call Monday, January 23rd from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Egan-Ryan Northwest Chapel, 4661 Kenny Rd, Columbus 43220. Mass of Christian Burial 10:30 AM Tuesday January 24th at St. Andrew Catholic Church 1899 McCoy Rd., Columbus 43220 Columbus, OH. Burial at 2:30 p.m. at St. Mary Cemetery, 7284 Lake Ave., Elyria, OH 44035.
