Henry George McCann, age 25, passed away peacefully on May 29, 2021 after a courageous battle with cancer, and surrounded by his loving family. Henry was born on June 3, 1995 to Peter and Kathryn McCann. He is survived by his parents, Pete and Katie, sisters Mara and Olivia, and brother Gabe, many aunts and uncles, cousins and too many friends to number. He is preceded in death by his infant brother, Nicholas Clarence McCann, his grandparents Adrienne and Richard McCann, and Louis and Mary Ann McGuire. Henry spent three years of high school attending St. Charles Preparatory School before transferring to Bishop Watterson for his senior year. Henry graduated from BWHS in 2014, playing lacrosse all four years of high school. Lacrosse was his first love! After high school he received a certification in personal training, a true passion of his. During his life Henry made many friends and touched many lives, especially once he shared his cancer story with someone. His family is so grateful for the outpouring of love and support that so many friends and family have shown us during this journey. We thank you!

Friends may call 3-7 P.M. Thursday, June 10th at Egan-Ryan Northwest Chapel, 4661 Kenny Road, Columbus, Ohio 43220. Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:30 A.M. Friday, June 11th at Immaculate Conception Church 414 E. North Broadway with Fr. Matthew Hoover and Fr. Ty Tomson, Celebrants. Interment to follow at St. Joseph Cemetery, 6440 S. High Street, Columbus, OH 43147.
