Helen Meers

Helen Meers, 92, transitioned into eternal life on August 3, 2023. Helen recieved a Bachelor of Arts in English, Cum Laude from The Ohio State University.  Helen worked for the Ohio State University Department of Humanities for over 20 years in administration.  Helen was a parishioner of I.C. O.L.P and Holy Cross Churches. Helen is preceded in death by her father, James; mother, Helen; sisters, Kathleen, Mary Lou “Elaine”, Beatrice “Bee”; brother, Pat; nieces, Katie Meers, Sandy Flanigan; nephews, Dan Meers, Tom Meers and Eric Flanigan; cousin, Tina Bergin, Jack Bergin, Susan Wharton.  Funeral Mass will be Friday, September 15, 2023 at 10 a.m. at Holy Cross Church, 204 South Fifth Street, Columbus, Ohio 43215.  Helen’s final resting place will be St. Joseph Cemetery, 6440 South High Street.  Donations in Helen’s memory can be made to Holy Cross Church.
