Harold E. (Hal) Ridenour, age 92, suddenly, Wednesday June 5, 2024. Born June 3, 1932 in Stone Creek, Ohio. A Longtime active member of St. Catharine Parish. Veteran U.S. Army. Graduate of The Ohio State University and received his Masters from Indiana University. Longtime teacher of Mathematics at Bexley High School. Hal was an Avid golfer at Pine Hill golf course where he had a very special group of friends. Preceded in death by his parents Howard and Clara Rippl Ridenour. Survived by his loving wife of 61 years Jean Doersam Ridenour and children Bruce (Nancy) Ridenour and Suzanne (Todd) Coulter; grandchildren Kelsey Harvey, Shane Coulter, Jerrod Coulter, Max and Drew Ridenour; great grand children Vito Harvey and Adria Coulter; sister Carol Ann (Bob) Shull. Friends may call Thursday June 13 at Egan-Ryan Funeral Home, 403 E. Broad St. from 4-7 pm. Prayer Service 4:00 p.m. Mass of the Christian Burial will be Friday June 14 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Catharine Church, 500 S. Gould Rd. Private burial at St. Joseph Cemetery. Friends who wish may contribute in Hal’s memory to St. Catharine Church or the charity of your choice.
