Frederick John Hoff, Jr died peacefully on March 16, 2025 at the age of 77. He was born September 6, 1947 in Columbus, Ohio to the late Frederick John Hoff, Sr. and the recently deceased Rosemary Hoff. He graduated from Brookhaven High School in 1965 and then served in the United States Navy for 4 years on the USS Kretchmer during the Vietnam War. Fred was a proud member of the Plumbers and Pipefitter’s Local Union 189. He was a dedicated and loving spouse to Sharon for 45 years. Fred is survived by his wife, Sharon Hoff, children Larry Hoff (Angela), Katherine Wiest (Andrew), Lisa Todd, Bryan Fitchpatrick, grandchildren, Vaughn, Ian, and Isabella Hoff, Logan and Morgan Wiest, Victoria Todd and Kamryn (Drew) Haynes, Patrick, (Cassandra) Bryan Jr and Sylvin Fitchpatrick and great-grandchildren: Jayceon, Kobe, Kasani, Tavia, Bryan, and Madison. Fred is preceded in death by his parents, Fredrick and Rosemary, his brother Jerry Hoff, sister-in-law, Barbara Hoff, Rita Fitchpatrick and a great-granddaughter, Miracle Fitchpatrick. Fred was a devoted husband, father, grandfather/paw- paw, and great-grandfather. He never knew a stranger, loved his coffee at all hours of the day and loved to fish. His joy was spending time with his grandchildren, taking them to the candy store and to the Circleville Pumpkin Show. He was a devoted Catholic who spent many active years at Holy Family Church as a parishioner and volunteer. We love you gobbles and gobbles.
A viewing will be held on Friday March 21 beginning at 9:00am followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at Holy Family Church at 10:00. Burial to follow at St. Joseph’s Cemetery.
