Ellen Marie (Weilbacher) Cook

Ellen Marie Weilbacher Cook, 64, of Upper Arlington, died Saturday December 21st, 2024 at Kobacker House surrounded by love.

Ellen was born May 20, 1960 in Columbus, Ohio, the daughter of the late Norbert Francis and Margaret Sarah (Reis) Weilbacher.  On May 30, 1987, she married David Alan Cook son of the late Helen “Babe” and Donald Cook at Saint Agatha Catholic Church in Upper Arlington, Ohio. 

Ellen is survived by her loving husband David and their children Victoria “Tori” Rose, Andrew David (Jacy), Mitchell Norbert, and Noah Jacob (Ashley): Grandson, Griffin David Cook: Brother, Timothy Weilbacher: Sisters, Judi (Lewis) Weilbacher-Woodruff, and Susan (Edward) Weilbacher Jansing: Brother-in-law William (Diane) Busch: Brother-in-law, Jay (Dawn) Cook: 9 nieces and nephews: 18 great nieces and nephews: Aunts, Sister Bernice Weilbacher S.N.D., and Mary Weilbacher Goff: numerous cousins and their families.

Predeceased by her sister Ann Weilbacher Busch, sister-in-law Pam Cook, and niece Margaret “Maggie” Weilbacher.

Ellen was a graduate of Xavier University, she was a faculty member or the LEND program at Ohio State University.  She also taught at School for Young Children (SYC), a Montessori based school. Her love was felt by all.

Friends may call 4-6 p.m. Thursday January 2nd at EGAN-RYAN FUNERAL HOME NORTHWEST CHAPEL 4661 Kenny Rd. A Memorial Mass will be held 10 a.m. Friday January 3rd at St. Agatha Church 1860 Northam Rd. Upper Arlington, OH 43221.
