Eugene T. (Tom) Kramer, 90, died March 31, 2016. Born in Columbus, Ohio, graduated Aquinas College High School. World War II veteran of U. S. Army Air Corp. Served in Italy, 15th Air Force, 456 Bomb Group, ball turret gunner on B-24, “best seat in the house to watch the war and the world.” Graduated Ohio State University in 1950, College of Agriculture. Preceded in death by parents, Eugene (Gene) and Hilda Kramer, sister Marianne Kramer O’Brien and brothers George and Walter and daughter-in-law Diane Kramer. Survived by wife of 68 years, Barbara (Bobbie) Comerford Kramer, daughter Tamera, LaGrange, GA, sons Mark and Catherine (Kitty) Kramer, Centennial, CO, Steve and Ingrid Kramer, Pleasanton, CA. Grandchildren, Kimberly (Kevin) Rogers Ransom, Meghan and Kelsey Rogers, Jeremy (Tram) Kramer, Carla (Josh) Granof, Peter (Ariel) Kramer and Kelly (Alan) Schulze and great grandchildren, Jack, Sarah and Cooper Ransom, Julian and Jocelyn Kramer, and Gabriel and Lillian Schulze. Siblings Sister Geneal Kramer, Delores (the late Tom) Bruggerman, and Michael (Mary Ellen) Kramer and sister-in-law Barbara (the late Walter) Kramer along with many relatives and friends in the Columbus and Cincinnati areas. Memorial Gathering Saturday, April 9, 2016 from 10:00 – 10:45 A.M., St. Timothy’s Catholic Church, 1088 Thomas Lane, Columbus, OH 43220 with Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 11:00 A.M. Private family burial at later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or St. Timothy’s Church.
