Dr. Thomas Glenn “Tom” Crago, age 78, passed away May 6, 2025. Tom graduated from Boardman High School in 1965 and then attended The Ohio State University, graduating in 1971 from The College of Veterinary Medicine. He spent his career treating small animals at his practice in Boardman, Ohio. In addition to his work as a veterinarian, he was an avid Buckeye football fan, spending many Saturdays with family in Columbus attending football games. Family and friends will fondly remember his gentle demeanor, words of wisdom and deep friendships.
He will be dearly missed by his daughter Ashley (Jeffrey) Cook, his siblings Ruthie (Barry) Palmer, Virginia (Greg) Black and David (Andrea) Crago; three grandchildren, Owen, Elena and Anna Cook, and many loving relatives and friends.
He is preceded in death by Nancy Koornick Kanter, his daughter Amber Crago, his parents Verle Glenn and Ruth Crago and his sister Judy Crago.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, May 12 at Noon at The Egan-Ryan Funeral Home Northwest Chapel, 4661 Kenny Road, Columbus. Family and friends may visit one hour prior to the service from 11 a.m. – Noon. Burial will follow in Resurrection Cemetery.
