Dorothy M. Barey

Dorothy M. Barey, 96, passed away on Thursday, March 27, 2025, at The Bickford. She was born November 18, 1928, in Cleveland, Ohio, to the late Helen Richter and Frank Kalcher.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph P. Barey, and her four siblings.  She is survived by her children, Mary Lynn Guilmette (John Pelton), Barbara (John) Gutbrod, Jane (Rick) Roberts, Nora Barey, Patrick (Phyllis) Barey; six grandchildren, Richard Guilmette (Lara Larson), Michael Gutbrod (Laura Maiorino), Jennifer (Matt) Rupp, Blake Roberts, Jason Partlow, Edward (Ashleigh) Partlow; and five great grandchildren, JJ Partlow, Evelyn and Isla Partlow, Mason and Skylar Rupp, along with several nieces and nephews. The family will hold a private funeral mass and inurnment in May.  In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Dorothy's memory to Zusman Hospice, 1151 College Avenue, Columbus, Ohio  43209.
