Donna (Tartal) Hinterschied

Donna Marie Tartal Hinterschied, age 91, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, August 8, 2023. She was a graduate of Holy Rosary High School, class of 1951.
Preceded in death by her parents Frank and Bertha Tartal, sisters Kathryn Savely and Mary Lou Brannigan, brother Francis Tartal. Step-son-in-law Greg Kasson.
Donna was also preceded in death by her loving husband of 25 years Richard Hinterschied. Donna and Dick were married in 1984. Shortly thereafter they both retired. During their retirement years they enjoyed traveling together with their favorite place being Aruba.
They lived in Naples, Florida for many years enjoying the sun and the beach. They made many friends in the Bay Forest community and had great fun there.
Donna was a woman of faith and a member of St. Pius X in Reynoldsburg and St. John the Evangelist in Naples. Survived by her daughters, Suzanne (Bob) Huber, Dale Carter and Karen Gotschall. She is also survived by her 9 stepchildren who she loved as her own. Ann (Gary) Smith, John (Pat) Hinterschied, Mary (Rod) Sorensen, Kathy (Bernie) Skubak, Dick(Gina) Hinterschied, Pam(Gerry)O’Neil, Patty(Rick)Howell, Tracy Kasson and Michael(Tracy) Hinterschied; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; sisters Anne Gillilan, Teresa Cooper, Bea John Goetz, Barbara Diewald, Jodi Weiser, Emerita Estes and Betsy Tartal; brother Tom Tartal; nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends Thursday, August 17, from 4-7 pm at EGAN-RYAN FUNERAL HOME, 403 E. BROAD ST. Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday at 10:30 am at Our Mother of Sorrows, 6440 S. High St, on the grounds of St Joseph Cemetery where the burial will follow. In lieu of flowers friends may contribute to St Jude Hospital.
