Donald Evans Illyes, age 72, passed away on May 29, 2019 at Richard M. Ross Heart Hospital Columbus Ohio. Member of St. Mary of The Assumption Catholic Church in Van Wert, Ohio. Proud US Navy Veteran of 9 years who served in Vietnam. Long time member of the Eagles and VFW. Preceded in death by parents Lola Himmeger and George Illyes; stepfather Harve Himmeger; father-in-law Norman Suever. Survived by his wife Pamela Kay Illyes (Suever) and daughter Nicole Lee Rice; grandchildren Tyler J. Rice, Shayla (Leonard) Miles; great-grandchildren Mason J. Rice and Brookelynn Miles; brother Ronald (Rhonda) Illyes; mother-In-law Kathryn Suever - who also passed away May 29, 2019. Graveside service at a later date. Contributions to the family or American Diabetes Association.
