Dennis Arbogast Obituary

Dennis N. Arbogast, 50, of Pickerington, passed away unexpectedly on June 30, 2021.

Dennis was raised in Orient, Ohio in the Clark Lakes Subdivision and graduated from Westfall High School class of 1989 where he will forever be remembered as the “Class Clown” and an avid and respected baseball player. In 2017 he was inducted into the Westfall Athletic Hall of Fame as his homerun record remains intact.

After graduating high school Dennis spent time on the road working as a “roadie” for his brother’s band The Toll which he thoroughly enjoyed.  Soon after, he began his journey in the construction business where he became a precise carpenter and gained a myriad of skills which allowed him to travel across the country to reconstruct retail store fronts and restaurants.  He then became an employee of Arcelormittal where he joined the USW Local 9309 and was employed there for 11 years and served as the Union Financial Secretary and Griever.

Dennis was loved by all that knew him.  He was a gentle giant and a jokester with a quick wit. He was always ready to make your smile match his.  If you ever needed help Dennis would always be there to lend a hand.  He loved spending time with his family and friends and could often be found on a golf course with his father, brother, and nephews.

Dennis was a great friend, a good son, a caring brother, the best uncle, and a loving father.

He will be deeply missed.

Dennis is survived by (ex wife) Anna Amanova; daughter Natasha Kovalenko; parents Robert (Mary Kay) Arbogast; siblings Niwat (Lori) Arbogast, Rose Arbogast, Oly Arbogast, Denise Arbogast (Shawn Huffman), Lesley Arbogast; step siblings Rick(Kristin) Silk, Julie (Don) Krolak, Jodie (Robert) Jimenez, Jami (Miguel) Frasquillo, John (Amy) Webb, Stephanie (Andy) Ware; nieces and nephews Amanda, Nicholas, Olivia, Noah, Garrett, Riley, Jarod, Max.
