David V. Young

David V. Young, age 52 passed away July 22, 2020 in Columbus, OH surrounded by family at Riverside Hospital/Hospice. David was medically retired from the City of Upper Arlington and also graduated from UA in 1986. David was a Lacrosse player at UAHS.  He was an avid hunter and fisherman (loved to travel to Canada 1 or 2 times a year to fish with his Father and Brother).  He is preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Ivy Triona; paternal grandparents, Robert & Jeanne Young and uncle, Jeffrey Young.  David is survived by his parents, Chris & Elaine Young; brother and sister, Craig Young (Hugo Martinez) and April (Bret) Lefever; former spouse, Lisa Ackison; devoted niece, Alison Allman; his beloved cat, "Vinny"; many many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.  Friends may call Monday, July 27 ‪from 6-7 PM with a memorial to immediately follow at Egan-Ryan Northwest Chapel, ‪4661 Kenny Road.  In Lieu of Flowers donations may be made to Pets Without Parents (where he adopted his cat Vinny/no kill shelter)  http://www.petswithoutparents.net/donate.html or ‪Colony Cats (no kill shelter) Link to donate: https://colonycats.org/donate.html
