David Parker

David Parker passed peacefully at his home on February 5, 2021.  Dave was born in Columbus on September 27, 1962.  Dave was a graduate of Thomas Worthington High School and Franklin University and went on to become a CPA.  Dave worked as a chef at various Columbus restaurants while attending school and then was employed at The Ohio State University in various financial positions.  Most recently Dave worked at Hobby Lobby.

Dave was a very active member at St. Timothy Catholic Church, treasurer of the men’s club, festival captain and a beloved coach. 

Dave is preceded in death by his parents, Donna and Murray Parker, and his sister Linda Parker Singer.

Dave is survived by his loving family including his wife of 31 years, Angela Altman Parker, his daughters Christina and Amy, his son Benjamin, his beautiful sisters Penny (Dan) Bemus, Patty (Regis) Hillow and Amy Parker, many members of the Altman Family and 21 nieces and nephews. 

Friends may call on Thursday, February 11 between 6:00 and 8:00 at the Egan Ryan Northwest Chapel, 4661 Kenny Road.  The Funeral Mass will be on February 12th at 11:00 at St. Timothy Catholic Church, 1088 Thomas Lane. 

In lieu of flowers donations may be sent to benefit the Jon and Irene Altman Dental Clinic payable to The Order of Malta Center of Care, 640 S. Ohio Ave., Columbus OH 43205.
