David M. Lee, Sr.

David Michael Lee, beloved father and devoted husband, passed away on February 29, 2024. He was born on January 25, 1945, and was a proud graduate of St. Cecilia High School. David was a dedicated worker, embodying the values of hard work and perseverance. David found joy in crafting and woodworking, showcasing his talent in creating beautiful pieces that will serve as lasting memories of his craftsmanship. He also had a passion for fishing, golfing and watching football, he was a lifelong fan of the Cleveland Browns, he found solace and camaraderie in these pursuits. However, David’s greatest legacy lies in the love and dedication he poured into his family. As a father, he was a pillar of strength and guidance, leaving behind a legacy of love, compassion, and resilience. His unwavering commitment to his family will forever be cherished and remembered. David Michael Lee is survived by his loving wife Vanessa Lee, children David Lee Jr., Shannon Lee, Angel Moore-Lee, Kristen Moore, stepchildren, brother Don Lee and sister Betty Lee. He was preceded in death by his late wife Betty Lee, mother Rita Lee, father Clarence Lee, and uncle George. He is also survived by his grandchildren, who brought him immense joy and pride. David Michael Lee will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. Though he may no longer be with us, his spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of those he touched. Friends may call at the EGAN-RYAN FUNERAL HOME 403 E. Broad St. on Tuesday, March 5 from 9:00-11:00 am. The Funeral Liturgy will be at Our Mother of Sorrows Chapel on the grounds of St. Joseph Cemetery, 6440 S. High St. Lockbourne, Ohio at 11:30 am
