Courtney Pendleton Caudill, age 44, passed away November 29, 2024 in Columbus, Ohio. She was born in Burwell Nebraska on December 29, 1979. She graduated from Pius X High School in Lincoln Nebraska and attended John Carroll University and then received her Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Pittsburgh. She went on to get her Master’s Degree in Social Work from Case Western Reserve. Courtney was employed at Mindfully Direct Health in Austin, Texas for over 15 years. She is survived by her father, Dr. Christopher (Deborah) Caudill; mother, Dr. Nancy Hicks Caudill; brothers, Dr. Chris (Anne) Caudill, Craig (Jennifer) Caudill and Colin (Lara) Caudill; fur baby, Dolly; aunts, Cindy (Paul) Duffy, Kathy Thurn, and Ann Penny; uncles, Bob (Robin) Hicks, and Tom (Harold Molette) Hicks; numerous cousins and friends. Courtney was a bright, beautiful, funny, generous, kind woman and her family adored her. We will miss her beyond limits. She suffered mightily from mental illness and at the last, succumbed to her illness. We shall forever miss her. Friends may call Friday from 9-10 a.m. at Egan-Ryan Funeral Home, 403 East Broad Street where a Funeral Service will be held at 10 a.m. Private burial at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Labre Indian School, Ashland, MT, 59004, the Franklin County Dog Shelter and Adoption Center or the Priests of the Sacred Heart, PO Box 900, Hales Corners, WI 53130.
