Cheri Ann (Batt) Fallon of Columbus, Ohio went to join our Lord and Savior on March 30, 2025, at the age of 77.
Cheri was born to the late Charles T. and Eleanor (Summers) Batt in Columbus, Ohio on March 7th, 1948. She grew up in Columbus, Ohio and in Johnstown, Ohio, where she was crowned Miss Johnstown Ohio. Cheri graduated from Johnstown-Monroe High School in 1967. She was a talented artist that was awarded several ribbons from the Ohio State Fair. Cheri met the love of her life John at Gates McDonald in 1969 and they were later married on Valentine’s Day in 1970. Her love for children started well before starting her own family with watching nieces, nephews and friend’s children. She started their early education by reading to them, doing arts and crafts, making special keepsakes for parents, and taking them on special adventures. She devoted her life to being a wonderful homemaker, where everyone was welcomed and felt loved and special.
Cheri was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Patricia Batt; daughter, Stacy Fallon and a very special Aunt Ruth Bachman. She is survived by her loving husband of 55 years, John E. Fallon; children, Damian Fallon, Stefanie (Gregg) Smith, Natalie (Brett) Karlik; grandchildren, Killyon Smith, Kiltie Smith, Logan Karlik, Raven Karlik, Ash Karlik, Maze Karlik; sisters, Bobbie Weber, Jackie Wilson and numerous extended family and friends.
Cheris’ most loved and favorite times were making memories with her husband, children and grandchildren, who loving called her “Mamo”.
Cheri was a loving and caring wife, mother, and grandmother, Christian, and beyond thoughtful. If you were lucky enough to have met her, then you know that she left a loving impression that was unforgettable. We were all blessed to have had Cheri in our lives.
