Cecilia Mary (Zag) Ridenour

Cecilia “Sis” Mary Ridenour also known to some as “Cee” of Blacklick, Ohio was called to the Lord Tuesday, April 8, 2025 at 7:10 pm while surrounded by family. Cecilia was born to Elizabeth and Michael Zag on October 9, 1947. Cecilia was a dedicated mother, grandmother, great- grandmother, aunt and friend. Cecilia placed her faith above everything else and was a dedicated member of the Holy Spirit Catholic Church. Cecilia loved animals, playing card and board games, saying her rosary every day, and cooking and baking for her loved ones. Cecilia never hesitated to share a story and had a smile that could light up a room. 

She is survived by her brother Chris (Lisa) Zag;  children, Allen (Paige) Ridenour, Sean (Lisa) Ridenour, Bruce (Nayesha) Ridenour, and Amie Keller; grandchildren, Erin (Nick), Sarah (Tyler), Benjamin, Alex, Calum, LeeAnn, Malena, Austen, and Jessica; great-grandchild, Amara; nieces and nephews, Alyssa (Greg) and Michael (Katie). She is preceded in death by her parents, Michael and Elizabeth Zag; brother, Joseph Zag; her loving grandparents; and many furry friends. 

A Rosary will be at Egan-Ryan Funeral Home, 403 E Broad St Columbus, OH 43215 on Sunday April 13, 2025 at 4pm and the family will be greeting guests from 4-7pm for visitation hours.  A Funeral Mass will be held at 10 am Monday April 14, 2025 at Holy Spirit Catholic Church 4383 E Broad St, Columbus, OH 43213 with a graveside service to follow at St Joseph Cemetery, 6440 S High St Lockbourne, OH 43137. Family and friends are invited back to New Life Church, 441 South Yearling Road, Whitehall, Ohio 43213 after the graveside service for food and refreshments to celebrate Cecilia’s life.
