Cecilia Fernandes

Cecilia Margaret Fernandes, age 86, passed away peacefully in her sleep on April 4, 2025. She was preceded in death by her husband Julian, brothers Eric, Reggie and Johnny and sister Cynthia. She is survived  by her sons: Keith (Sue), Glenn (Mabi), Roy (Brenda) and Rudy (Kristin), her sister Marie, brother, Joe and her 8 grandchildren. Cecilia was born on November 22, 1938 to Zacharias and Violet Vaz. Cecilia was known for her vibrant, fun-loving nature. She was a dedicated member of St. Andrew Parish where she faithfully attended daily mass. Cecilia lived a fascinating life, living in Bombay, India, Tokyo, Japan and Columbus, Ohio. She lived out her dream of traveling the world as a young woman. In her later years, Cecilia’s greatest delight was spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. A private Memorial Service and burial will be held at Resurrection Cemetery. Friends who wish may contribute in her memory to St. Andrew Parish.
