Catherine (Bernard) Cooper

Catherine “Cathy” Cooper (Bernard) age 84, of Reynoldsburg Ohio, passed Thursday, April 22, 2021.  Born in Columbus, Ohio, the eldest daughter of Ralph and Audrey Bernard.  Graduated from Holy Family H.S. then attended OSU.  Married her husband of 61 years Joseph and raised 4 daughters.  She then finished her education becoming a Certified Chemical Dependency Counselor retiring from OSU Harding Hospital.  A devoted wife and mother, putting family first, she enjoyed being a long standing member of Apple Valley where she spent many outings with family, friends and the camping community.  She enjoyed traveling, oil painting, movies and participating in many activities of both the Reynoldsburg and Pickerington Senior Centers. Preceded by husband Joseph.  Survived by 4 daughters, Cathleen Chrzanowski, Kelly Cooper, Susan Cooper and Linda Cooper; 8 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; sister, Mary (Paul) Nobile; brother, Ralph Bernard; as well as their extended families.   Friends may call Monday, May 3, 2021 at 10 a.m. where a Prayer Service will be held at 10:30 a.m.  Please no flowers.
