Carolyn Ann Allen

Carolyn Ann (Whipps) Allen, age 81, went to eternal life on November 08, 2025.  Born July 23, 1944 in Columbus, Ohio.  She was a devout Catholic and member of St. Matthew Catholic Church and former member of St. Catharine Church.  Retired after a career as an Administrative Assistant and Corporate Events Planner.  Deeply loved her family and friends and had a passion for flowers, gardening and donating her time to help others. Cherished by all those whose lives she touched. Preceded in death by parents Clark and Ann Whipps; husband of 53 years Dwight E. Allen; daughter Marianne E. Allen. Carolyn is survived by her son and daughter-in-law Michael T. and Sarah (Nicholson) Allen; grandson Luke A. Allen; and cousins.  Friends may call Wednesday, November 12 from 5-7 pm at Egan-Ryan Funeral Home, 403 East Broad Street.  Mass of Christian Burial will be Thursday, November 13 at 10 am at St. Matthew Church, 807 Havens Corners Road.  Private burial at St. Joseph Cemetery at a later date.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Matthew Church.
