Caroline (Jackie) M. (Allgeier) Kinnaird died on October 6, 2025, at Hospice of Central Ohio at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. She was born in Brookville, Pennsylvania, and was pre-deceased by her parents, Walter and Mabel Allgeier. She was married to the late William H. Kinnaird. Jackie moved to Shelby, Ohio with her husband in 1958 and was a housewife, raising three children until her youngest child was in high school. At 45 years old, she attended the Mansfield General Hospital School of Nursing, received her RN license and worked at the hospital in Mansfield until her retirement at 65 years old.Jackie moved to Hilliard, Ohio, after retirement, and she worked for South-Western City Schools for ten years as a medication monitor in the clinic at Galloway Ridge Intermediate School.
Survivors include her two daughters, Mary (Mimi) Alexandra Kinnaird-Padovan (Mike) and Anne (Gaby) Gabrielle Kinnaird, as well as her son Paul Vincent Kinnaird, all of Columbus. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, October 10, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Andrew Catholic Church, 1899 McCoy Road, Columbus, Ohio, 43220. The family will receive friends in the church vestibule one hour prior to Mass, starting at 10:00 a.m..
A Celebration of Life will be held from 4:30 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. at Gallos Tap Room Bethel Road, 5019 Olentangy River Road, Columbus, Ohio, 43214, on the same day. All who want to remember Jackie and celebrate her life are welcome to join the family! A private burial will be held at a future date and time. The family requests in lieu of flowers that memorial contributions be made to St. Andrew Catholic Church, 1899 McCoy Road, Columbus, Ohio 43220, St. Josephine Bakhita Parish, 6077 Sharon Woods Blvd., Columbus, Ohio, 43229 or Ohio’s Hospice of Central Ohio, Philanthropy Department, 2269 Cherry Valley Rd., Newark, Ohio, 43055.
