Carol (Clifford) Young

Carol Young, age 88, passed away at home on May 9, 2023.  She was a longtime member of Holy Family Parish.  Born in Columbus, Oh on September 24, 1934 to the late Harry and Elizabeth Clifford.  She is preceded in death by her husband, Harold Young and son, Bobby Garcia.  She is survived by her sisters, Rita Belmonte and Barbara Ellis; grandson, Michael Garcia; nieces, Terri Ann (Rick) Yenger and Kim Lloyd (Brad Clippinger); nephew, Scott Ellis (Sarah); neighbor and special friend Bill Schutt; many other relatives.  Friends may call Monday from 4-7 p.m. at Egan-Ryan Funeral Home, 403 East Broad Street. Mass of Christian Burial will be Tuesday at 9:30 a.m. at Holy Family Church, 584 West Broad Street.  Entombment to follow at Greenlawn Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Capital City Hospice of Columbus or to Holy Family Church.
