Bill McCoy, fondly known as Grumpy, passed away on February 1, 2024. Bishop Hartley Graduate, Class of 1968. Retired Railroad Engineer. Preceded in death by his mother and father, Bill and Alice McCoy; many aunts and uncles. Survived by his wife of 51 years, Christine McCoy; son Bill (Emmy) McCoy III; grandson and his little buddy, William A. McCoy IV; sister, Julie McCoy Greenfield; niece Annie (Trevor Gerdiman) and nephew Ray Greenfield. Per all my friends at Gentiva Hospice: Death leaves a heartache no one can heal. Love leaves a memory no one can steal. Friends may call Tuesday from 5-8 p.m. at Egan-Ryan Funeral Home, 403 East Broad Street. Funeral Mass will be Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. at St. Matthew Church, 807 Havens Corners Road. Private burial at a later date.
