Barbara Ann Deutschle

Barbara was born on January 24, 1931, in Cincinnati, Ohio, to Joseph and Clara Weber. Barb married
Jim J. Deutschle on September 12, 1953.

She attended St. Josephine School for Girls. She graduated from The Ohio State University in 1968
with a bachelor’s degree in musical education. In 1974, Barb graduated from Wright State
University with a master’s degree in Learning Disabilities/Behavior Disabilities.

Preceded in death by her husband Jim, her son Thomas E. Deutschle, and granddaughter Fann`i M.
Deutschle.

Survived by her children, James J. Deutschle (Frances), William A. Deutschle, Andrew V. Deutschle
(Carol), and Gretchen M. Deutschle. Grandsons Benjamin T. Deutschle (Kris), and Jonathon E.
Deutschle (Taylor); great grandsons Sage Deutschle, Sebastian Deutschle, and Lucus Deutschle;
great granddaughters Mae (Frankie) Deutschle and Sarah Deutschle.

Celebration of Life for Barbara will be held on Sunday, May 31, 2026 from 3-5 pm at Egan-Ryan Funeral Home, 4661 Kenny Road, Columbus, Ohio.
