Arthur F. Wohlfrom, Jr.

Arthur F. Wohlfrom Jr., age 84, died Tuesday, March 28, in Columbus, Ohio. A graduate of St. Charles Preparatory School. Attended the University of Dayton and went on to serve in the U.S. Army Reserves. Retired from the State Teachers Retirement System as a securities trader. Parishioner at St. Agatha Catholic Church. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus, Fourth Degree, the Society of St. Vincent de Paul, volunteer at the Joint Organization for Inner-City Needs (J.O.I.N.), and enjoyed stamp collecting. He is preceded in death by his beloved wife of 57 years, Anne Downey Wohlfrom, and parents Arthur F. Sr. and Gertrude Newhouse Wohlfrom. He is survived by children Michael A. (Angela) Wohlfrom, Sheila W. (Michael) Arata and Steven W. (Margaret) Wohlfrom; grandchildren Summer Wohlfrom, Hannah and Leah Heil, and Molly and Abigail Wohlfrom; nieces, nephews and friends. Art’s family will receive friends from 2-5 p.m. on Sunday, April 2, at the EGAN-RYAN FUNERAL HOME (Central Chapel), 403 E. Broad Street, Columbus. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, April 3, at 10 a.m. at St. Agatha Church, 1860 Northam Road, Upper Arlington. Burial to follow at Resurrection Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to J.O.I.N.
