Anne Theresa (Mullen) Jacobs

Anne Theresa (Mullen) Jacobs, age 91, passed away March 4, 2021 in Columbus.  She was born November 22, 1929 in Youngstown, OH the youngest child of the late Frank and Anna (Carney) Mullen.  She married Irvin “Skup” Jacobs February 3, 1951 and after 64 years of marriage he passed away September 2, 2015. She was also preceded in death by her brothers, Frank and William Mullen; sisters Rita Fagan, Colleta Slivka and Catherine Marsden.  She was a 1947 Graduate of The Rayen School and retired as office manager of Hynes Industries. Anne is survived by her children Anne Varga of Columbus, Michael Jacobs of Columbus, Mary Pat (Rick) Stine of Cincinnati, Joe “Jake” (Tammy) Jacobs  of Boardman, Betsy (John) DeNiro of Columbus; grandchildren Katie Varga, Colleen (Ryan) Ross, Maggie (Glen) Byrne, Sam (Lauren) Jacobs, Pete (Lacey) Jacobs, Liz Stine, Catherine Stine, Rachel Stine, Michael Jacobs, Max (Erin) Jacobs, Danny (Becca) DeNiro, Tess (Danny) Kurth, Kelly (Ian) Warmbrodt; 7 great grandchildren; sister-in-law Buzzy Mullen; cousins Tom and Mary Rita Carney, numerous nieces and nephews.  A Memorial Mass will be held 11 a.m. Thursday March 11th at St. Andrew Church 1860 McCoy Rd. Columbus, OH where friends may call after 10 a.m. Arrangements by EGAN-RYAN FUNERAL HOME NORTHWEST CHAPEL.
