Anne McHale Campbell, age 90. Born August 24th, 1930, in Pittston, PA. Born into eternal life on May 12th, 2021, at the Forum at Knightsbridge.
Anne embraced, "This is the day the Lord has made. Let us rejoice and be glad in it" (Psalm 118:24) and radiated her faith in the Lord daily. She was also passionate in her love for family, friends and the Buckeyes. She was proud to be 100% Irish. Active member of St. Andrew Catholic Church for nearly 50 years and member of Immaculate Conception Church for the last 15 years.
Preceded in death by husband of 56 years, Christopher J. Campbell Sr., parents Martin and Mae McHale, brother Jack McHale, sisters Margy Owens and Jeanne Stanton, and son-in-law Dan Best.
Survived by her legacy: sons, Deacon Christopher Jr. (Anne), Martin, Michael (Valerie), daughters Karen (Jay) Augenstein, Lisa Best, and Julie (Jim) Grunenwald; grandchildren, Sean (Alex), Colleen, and Mary Kate (Noah Harris, fiancé) Campbell, Christa (David) Chiodo, Megan (Eric) Cortland, Kelly (Jack) Fagan, and Lauren Campbell, Katie, Tommy (Jana Sztuk, fiancé), Bobby, and Annie Campbell, Ian, John, and Paul Augenstein, Jake, Nick, and Matt Best, and Michael Grunenwald; great-grandchildren Violet and Lana Mae, Chris, Will, and Jack; many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Family will receive friends Monday, May 17th from 3-7 p.m. (Prayer Service 7:00 p.m.) at EGAN-RYAN FUNERAL HOME NORTHWEST CHAPEL, 4661 Kenny Rd, Columbus, OH 43220. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Church, 414 E. North Broadway, 43214. Interment Resurrection Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made payable to: Bishop Watterson High School, Memo: TEFEE Scholarship Fund, 99 East Cooke Rd., Columbus, OH. 43214. T.E.F.E.E. (Tuition Earned For Extra Effort) was established by Chris and Anne to reward the "hardest working" students at Bishop Watterson.
