Ann passed away after a long illness at Brookdale Pinnacle Assisted Living in Grove City. Ann retired from Chemical Abstracts Company where she worked for many years. She received her undergraduate degree from Bridgewater State University in Massachusetts, where she graduated Summa Cum Laude. Ann went on to receive her Master of Science Degree from the University of Minnesota.
She is survived by her brother, Winston Morrill and family and friends.
Ann loved music, art and was an avid reader. She was devoted to her Catholic faith, which she embraced after years of prayer and study. Ann also loved hunting and shooting, and was proud to have earned the designation of Sustained Fire Sharpshooter from the National Rifle Association in May of 2000.
We are very grateful to A Place for Mom, Brookdale Pinnacle Assisted Living and Vitas Hospice for the assistance, caring and compassionate support they provided Ann in the last month of her life.
Ann’s viewing will be at the Egan Ryan Downtown Chapel, 403 East Broad Street in Columbus on Wednesday, October 8th from 6 PM to 8 PM, with a rosary prayed at 7:30. On Thursday, October 9th, a second viewing will take place in Holy Family Church, 584 West Broad Street in Columbus beginning at 8:30 AM.
