Ann Janet Fichtelman

Ann Janet Fichtelman, age 73 passed away Sunday December 11, 2022 at Violet Springs Health Center after a brief illness. Ann was the daughter of the late Warren L. Fichtelman and Mary Louise Scanlon Fichtelman. Survived by her brother James W. Fichtelman, nephew Paul and Breckin (Wells) Fichtelman. Many close and caring cousins and friends. Ann's life was dedicated to taking care of the sick and elderly starting at Grant Hospital in 1976 as an LPN Nurse. Transferring to Mount Carmel Hospital graduated Otterbein University with her RN (BNS) then completing Mount Carmel School of Nursing OHVI Nurse Clinician. Obtained her Master's Degree (MSN) at Wright State University. Transferred to Riverside Methodist Hospital as a RN and Educator. Cardiovascular Nurse Specialist and presented the Award for Excellence in Nursing Practice. Retired 2016 after 41 years of service.

Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday, January 27 at 10:30 a.m. at Our Mother of Sorrows Chapel, on the grounds of St. Joseph Cemetery Burial to follow.
