Amelia Clair Crawford

Amelia Clair Crawford, precious daughter of Matthew Jared and Kateri Lucy Crawford, was born into heaven on December 26th , 2024 at Grant Medical Center in Columbus, Ohio. Born at 35 weeks, Amelia weighed 3 lbs 10 oz and was 14 inches long. Although Amelia only lived inside mommy's belly, Amelia was, is, and will be loved by her family and has already touched and will touch many lives. Her big sisters, Lucy Mae and Matilda Elizabeth, and big brothers, William Joseph and Jared Lucas, gave Amelia love, spoke to her in the womb and found little treasures for her as they planned for their new baby sister’s arrival on January 30.

Like her older brothers and sisters, our little Amelia’s name came from family. Her name, Amelia, was chosen for her paternal late-great-grandmother and Clair for her maternal great-aunt. “Amelia,” meaning “vigorous,” and “Clair,” meaning “brightness,” is now an angel, a laborer of light, in the lives of her family and others. In lieu of flowers, donations in Amelia’s memory can be made to the charitable organization, Back In His Arms Again.
