Agnes (Aggie) Rita McGee MacKinnon, born April 6, 1928, in Brackenridge, PA. Daughter of Charles A. and Mary McGee. Sisters Rosemary Schreick, Helen McGee and brother Charles McGee. Aggie was a graduate of Our Lady of Victory School and then attended The Ohio State University. Aggie is preceded in death by her beloved husband of 65 years Joseph (Joe) L. MacKinnon, son Thomas "Doc" MacKinnon, son-in-law John Fickell and great grandson Charlie McGann. Survived by daughters Kathy Fickell and Patti McAlarnen, sons David and John (Lisa) MacKinnon, daughter-in-law Kathleen MacKinnon, the Loomis, Doyle, and McGovern families. Aggie doted on her many nieces and nephews, nine grandchildren and ten great grandchildren who affectionately called her "MaMa". Her large Scot-Irish family brought her much joy. Aggie was a member of Christ the King Catholic Church for over 70 years and also of St. Catharine of Siena Church. Aggie's Catholic faith was the centerpiece of her life. She attended daily mass at Christ the King and St. Patrick Catholic Church for many years. Aggie had a strong devotion to the Blessed Virgin Mary. She was blessed to have passed away on the Feast of Our Lady of Fatima. Aggie served on the Board of Directors of St. Vincent Orphanage in the 1950's. She was a proud member of The Daughters of Erin, the Columbus Symphony Orchestra Women's Group, Aquinas High School and St. Charles Preparatory School Mother's Clubs. Aggie was also a long-time member of the Columbus Country Club. Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday at 10:00 a.m. at Christ the King Church, 2777 East Livingston Ave. Inurnment to follow at St. Joseph Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Christ the King Church.
