Aaron Drake

In the early morning of Saturday, June fourth, Aaron R. Drake passed away at the age of thirty-five from a tragic automobile accident. Born November fourth in Columbus Ohio to Jim and Judy Drake, he is a beloved brother of Mathew Drake and Katie Prescott (Drake) and father to Bryson Hunter and Espyn Phoenix.

Aaron had a lifelong love of sports from Basketball to Soccer from an early age. Growing up he competed in many youth leagues including the YMCA where he later passed on his love by coaching youth soccer. Through middle school and high school, he competed in both JV and varsity levels in wrestling, football, soccer, and basketball.

As an avid hunter and outdoorsman, he was always working on his bows and taking trips to the family land in southern Ohio. Recently he became a member of the Apache Bowhunters club in Lockbourne Ohio. He competed in competition shoots both for the love of the sport and to hone his talents. Even with his love of sport and the outdoors Aaron's greatest joy and proudest accomplishment in life was his son Bryson Hunter and daughter Espyn Phoenix. The brightest of his smiles was reserved for the times spent with his children.

A brief Service of Remembrance will be held 11 am Monday June 13th at Egan Ryan Funeral Home Northwest Chapel 4661 Kenny Rd. Columbus OH 43220 where friends may call 10-11 am.
