Timothy M. Fox passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on August 23, 2017.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Adelaide Fox, his brother James Fox, and his sisters Kathryn Nelson and Virginia Kirkwood.  He was a loving husband to Julie and devoted father to Timothy Jr., Patricia and Ronald.  Tim is survived by his siblings Richard Fox (Jodie) and Robert Fox (Linda), his brothers-in-law Don Nelson and Robert Kirkwood, and several nieces and nephews.

Tim was born in Cleveland, Ohio, attended Bishop Watterson High School and obtained his bachelor’s degree in History from Kenyon College.  Shortly after graduating from Case Western Reserve School of Law in 1987, Tim began a successful career as a litigation attorney at Ulmer & Berne, where he worked for over 25 years.   

Tim was an excellent chef and loved nothing more than cooking delicious meals for his friends and loved ones.   For years he managed the food for the St. Agatha parish picnic as well as its spaghetti dinners.   Annual hunting trips with his brothers and nephews were a favorite pastime, as were his frequent fishing vacations with his sons and daughter and spending time in the summer at the Kirkwood's riverhouse.   Tim loved antiquing and playing bridge with his wife and in-laws.  There was never a more generous or sympathetic friend.  He will be truly missed by all who knew and loved him. 

Visitation will be held from 4:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., Monday, August 28, at Egan-Ryan Funeral Home, 4661 Kenny Road, Columbus.   Mass of Christian Burial will be on Tuesday, August 29, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Agatha Catholic Church, 1860 Northam Road, Columbus.  Burial ceremony will be private.  In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to the St. Agatha Vincent de Paul Society or Nationwide Children’s Hospital.
