Sr. Lois Laronde, O.P. Obituary

Dominican Sister of Peace, Sister Lois A.(Therese Albert) Laronde died at Mohun Health Care Center, Columbus, OH on Wednesday, December 19, 2018. She was born in 1935 in Arlington, MA and in 1955 made her profession to the Dominican Sisters of St. Catharine, KY now the Dominican Sisters of Peace.

She earned degrees from Siena College and Emmanuel College and earned CPE Certification in Massachusetts. She taught in Illinois, New York, Massachusetts and West Virginia.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Lillian McAdoo Laronde, and her brother, Albert Jr. She is survived by her sister-in-law, Jeanne Laronde.

Wake and Funeral Services will be held at the Dominican Sisters of Peace Sansbury Care Center, Saint Catharine, Kentucky at a later date.
