Ruth Jane (Iannone) Boyles

Ruth Jane (Iannone) Boyles, age 87, went peacefully home, to be with our Lord, on Wednesday, November 21, 2018, in Lehigh Acres, Florida. Ruth retired from Bellaire City Hospital in 1994 at which time she moved to Columbus, OH. In 2017 she moved to Florida, but always considered Bellaire, Ohio, where she attended South Bellaire United Methodist Church, to be her home. Ruth was born on January 1, 1931 in Benwood, WV, to Vito Iannone and Rhea (Milbaugh) Iannone. She is preceded in death by both parents, husband Bill Boyles, brothers Herbert and Don Iannone, and sisters Nellie (Harold) Harper and Mildred (Jack) Jackson. She is survived by  her four children, Barbara (Mike) Kennedy and Tom (Maggie) Boyles, of Lehigh Acres, FL, Becky Kerkesner of Ft. Myers, FL, Lisa (Jim) Gallagher of Columbus, OH, eleven grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, sister Jean Sexton of Columbus, OH, brother Ed Iannone of Houston Heights, TX and many beloved nieces and nephews.  Ruth was known for her warmth, her fierce devotion to family and great love of animals, both tame and wild. Her grocery list always included treats for the pups, and bird seed and peanuts to feed those who flocked to her back yard. She was at her happiest in the kitchen cooking and baking to feed the masses at holiday get togethers. Her cookie platter was the highlight of every Christmas, and her pies were second to none. Ruth was also a gifted artist who enjoyed painting pictures of the animals she so adored. She will be sorely missed by all who knew her, but we take comfort in knowing that she is in heaven with our Lord and her departed loved ones. Friends may call 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. Saturday at the Egan-Ryan Funeral Home Northwest Chapel 4661 Kenny Rd. where her Funeral Service will be held at 1 p.m. Burial to follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.
