Rita B. Lynch, age 95, born in Chicago, IL, passed away at St. Ann’s Hospital on May 9, 2018 after a brief illness. She was a WWII WAC veteran, a homemaker, and had a long career with the Ohio Auto Club. She enjoyed cooking, gardening, and needlework and was involved for many years as a faithful member at St. Mary Magdelene Catholic Church and most recently at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church. She is predeceased by husband John F. Lynch Jr., daughter Kathleen J. Lynch, and brothers Joseph Bolakowski and Jerome Bolakowski. She is fondly remembered and survived by daughter Elaine L. Masys, son Michael T. Lynch (Patrice), siblings Stanley Bolakowski, Aileen Garbison, Ted Bolakowski (Patty), and Betty Ann Worden. Also survived by grandsons David Masys (Lisa), Jeremy Masys, granddaughter Erin Lynch, great-granddaughters Chloe, Campbell and Cahill, and former son-in-law and dear family friend John H. Masys (Sarah), as well as numerous members of the Masys family. Viewing and remembrance is scheduled for Tuesday May 15 from 4-7 PM at EGAN-RYAN FUNERAL HOME, 403 East Broad Street, Columbus, OH, with Funeral Mass at 10:00AM on Wed. May 16 at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church, 6077 Sharon Woods Blvd. Burial to follow at St Joseph Catholic Cemetery, Lockbourne, OH. Those who wish may contribute to St. Elizabeth’s Catholic Church or St. Vincent de Paul Society.
