Richard Patrick Cleary

September 2, 1952 ~ April 17, 2013 (age 60) 60 Years Old

Richard Patrick Cleary, 60, beloved eldest of the seven sons of Richard (Dick) and Paddy Cleary, died peacefully at his cherished home Wednesday April 17, 2013. He was preceded in death by his father Dick and brother Kevin. A graduate of Immaculate Conception grade school and Whetstone High School. Rick was a life-long resident of Clintonville and a faithful member of Immaculate Conception Parish. Rick always had a smile on his face and a kind word for all. He enjoyed playing the guitar and was an avid music aficionado with a special affinity for Frank Zappa. He was an ardent Ohio State Buckeyes sports fan. Rick is survived by his beloved mother Paddy, Brothers Tim, Sean (Rosie), Bill (Jessica), Dan (Michele) and Dennis (Clare); Aunts Betty Cleary, Eileen Cleary, Pat Carroll, and Suzanne (Dick) Beeman; Nieces and nephews: Annie, Eamon, Finn, Ada, Brendan, Martha, and Colin Cleary; many cherished cousins, friends and neighbors. The family would like to thank North Central Mental Health Services for being great friends and providing exceptional loving care to Rick. Visitation Friday at Egan-Ryan Northwest Chapel 4661 Kenny Rd. 5:00 – 7:30 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial Saturday 10:00 am at Immaculate Conception Church, 414 E North Broadway. Burial St. Joseph Cemetery. Msgr. Stephan Moloney, Celebrant. In lieu of flowers, consider making a donation to North Central Mental Health Services, 1301 North High Street Cols, Oh 43201. Eternal Rest Grant unto him Oh Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him.
